I have never read anything Stephen King has written so you'll have to forgive me if I'm a little surprised at how, well, dumb he is. And mean.
Witness his unglued and nearly incoherent column in The Daily Beast: Tax Me, for F@%&’s Sake! If you can stomach his sophomoric insults about Chris Christie's weight -- "too busy at the all-you-can-eat cheese buffet at Applebee’s in Jersey City" -- and the string of F-bombs, you'll come across this little gem. Liberals love it so much, they are currently circulating this graphic on the social media:
Wait, what? Uber-liberal Stephen "Tax the rich!" King just said this...
"...those who have received much must be obligated to pay ... in the same proportion."Uh, Stephen, that's called the flat tax.
Currently the top 25% of income earners pay 86% of the income taxes. That's no where near the same proportion. This, of course, begs the question, what exactly is one's "fair share"? I hear that term all the time from liberals but they are never able to define it.
It seems that Stephen King (accidentally) just did.
